Role Overview
The Atheon DevOps team is looking to add a new junior developer to our team. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn with some experience in web development and/or interest in Python/Django. At Atheon we place immense importance on attitude, therefore candidates should have a real passion for technology, problem solving and a desire to be part of a small, successful and ambitious company.
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance to the existing codebase
- Follow a Test Driven Development approach
- Deliver new features and enhancements in an efficient and timely manner
- Be able to work in a 3rd line support environment
- Actively support agile development methods and best practices
Additional responsibilities:
- Be able to write tests based on assigned use cases
- Be able to contribute to the project documentation
Ideal Candidate
Must have:
- An IT related degree
- Some basic Django experience
- Some experience with project documentation
- Right to work in the UK
Would be:
- Happy to work in a small team
- Happy to participate in code refactors
