Looking for an Affiliate Python/Django Tech Lead - 2 days a week in Leeds. 6 month contract to start in September, up to £650 per day.

Role:
- Stabilise and optimise the backend to ensure the platform can handle rapid user growth (needs to be a hands-on coder).
- Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud architecture (AWS-based).
- Define and embed engineering best practices (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, testing).
- Lead 2 other developers as part of a tight-knit team.
- Work closely with CEO/founder, AI Tech Lead and an ANDi Product Manager.
Key skills:
- Python (Django framework)
- Strong AWS / cloud infrastructure knowledge (including autoscaling, monitoring, and security).
- Integration/API engineering (Xero or similar SaaS APIs)
- Deep backend engineering expertise, with experience scaling SaaS products desirable.
- Ability to operate hands-on, in a fast paced start-up environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
