Role overview:
- Build and maintain data pipelines that process billions of events daily across batch and streaming systems.
- Develop AI‑powered solutions, including intelligent agents using Databricks Agent Bricks to improve productivity.
- Set up infrastructure as code for data and AI platforms, maintaining scalability and reproducibility.
- Create monitoring and alerting systems that safeguard data quality, model performance, and pipeline reliability.
- Optimise data processing jobs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
- Partner with product and domain teams to deliver new data features and agent‑driven tools.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and AI applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices across the team.
