Role overview:

As a Retail Sales Colleague you’ll be responsible for supporting customers, driving sales and helping to run the store. The role includes an induction to build product knowledge and selling skills, with ongoing training and product demos.

Contract details: 8-15 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours. £12.21 per hour plus an average bonus of 89p per hour (rising to £12.51 on successful completion of probation).

Work pattern: Sales colleagues work flexibly across opening hours, typically including Saturdays and Sundays. Stores are open 7 days a week, generally 9am–8pm, with local variations.

Responsibilities

  • Ask the right questions to match customers with products.
  • Make every customer interaction memorable.
  • Offer support services such as delivery and installation, recycling and payment options.
  • Contribute to the overall sales performance of the store.
  • Work across different departments and product ranges.
  • Support store operations and tasks to help run the store smoothly.
