Overview
As a Retail Sales Colleague, you’ll be part of a team at Currys committed to helping customers enjoy amazing technology. You’ll work in a role with a flexible schedule across opening hours, typically including weekends, in stores operating 7 days a week between 9am and 8pm (local variations apply).
Training is provided: new colleagues attend a two to three day induction, virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, to gain skills for selling, serving and supporting customers. You’ll also have opportunities to learn about supplier products, product demos ahead of launches and testing the latest tech to build confidence in recommendations.
Role overview
- Asking the right questions to match customers with products.
- Making every customer interaction memorable.
- Offering support services such as delivery and installation, recycling and ways to pay.
- Contributing towards the overall sales performance of the store.
- Working across different departments and product ranges.
- Supporting with the running of the store by completing operational tasks.
Salary: 8-15 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours. £12.21 per hour plus an average bonus per hour of 89p (rising to £12.51 on successful completion of probation).
