Role Overview

Role Purpose: To support the Product and Pricing Department in the setup and management of tariff, product and gift ranges; to assist sales by setting up tariff product combinations on back-office systems; to assist external stakeholders in the partnerships and the iD Webteams, as well as being a point of contact for the Product Activation team in Carphone Warehouse; to work with the trading team to price up products for the CLC websites; assist with device builds and golden handset launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support changes to Tariff & Variations when requested from ALL departments as and when required.
  • The creation and development of all TAR / VAR on IOPS and PIE Back Office (internal database and management system) for use by CLC Brands and CPW Direct.
  • Campaign Audit all product setups created by the rest of the team to ensure no mistakes have been made on PIE Back Office.
  • Managing and updating the Strategic Pricebook to ensure we have a range of our tariffs and manage commissions.
  • Creation of new products and attaching of new tariffs / offers as directed by trading.
  • To ensure that all TAR Commissions are correct in order to maintain accurate daily reporting via the Daily Margin report.
  • Manage active tariff ranges, monitoring tariffs which have expired and auditing websites to ensure they’re not available to customers.
  • Manage extra information on the CLC Branded websites such as insurance, allowances, cost prices.
  • Any changes to products and pricing on OLS Branded sites and associated brands are actioned on PIE Back Office & IOPS.
  • Management of new tariff ranges including the creation of new tariffs at all levels.
  • Ensuring PIE Back Office & IOPS reflects from a set up point of view all current products & TAR VAR combinations.
  • To support Trading with offer creation & adhere to current commercial filters when actioning price changes and new offer creation.
  • Managing projects involving network refreshes and taking part in the management of gold handset launches.
  • Planning and preparation for scheduling of pricing changes to align with business deadlines and launches.
  • To price up products from briefs from trading teams.
  • To convert pricing briefs from trading and manage the price change process onto the website, working with Marketing teams to maximise sales and limit change impact.
  • To manage the gift range, including creation of new gifts for online, managing cashback range, and ensure data set to allow correct cashback to be processed.
  • Supporting other areas of the Mobiles.co.uk commercial team with analytic and data setup when needed.
