The CRM Automation Manager will define and lead the marketing automation strategy, leveraging our marketing technology to deliver scalable, high‑performing customer journeys and campaigns. They will be responsible for ensuring the CRM platform is used to its full potential, driving customer engagement, conversion and retention through timely, relevant and personalised communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain multi‑channel marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next, ensuring robust setup, QA and performance tracking
- Collaborate with CRM and data teams to integrate customer attributes and events, enabling reliable audience targeting and segmentation
- Develop and manage audience segments based on customer behaviour, lifecycle stage and product purchase history
- Implement personalisation and multi‑variant testing frameworks to improve campaign effectiveness
- Maintain CRM platform health, resolve issues and apply best practices for incident management
- Evaluate and implement new CRM tools and platform features to improve efficiency and capability
- Deliver regular usage reports and insights to support continuous optimisation and stakeholder engagement across CRM platform tools
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in CRM campaign strategy and delivery
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink)
- Experience in fast‑paced environments; retail experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing regulated communications
- Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and deriving actionable insights
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholders
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
