We’re looking for an engaging and creative L&D Facilitator on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract or Secondment to join our Learning & Development team in a unique, dual-focused role. You’ll divide your time between delivering exceptional induction programmes through our Academy and enhancing the capability of our Gaming Expert colleagues across the business. This is a hands‑on role for a confident facilitator and learning designer who is passionate about bringing learning to life and helping people grow. You’ll collaborate closely with L&D, Retail, Commercial and Stores teams, as well as external partners, to create impactful learning experiences that support both colleague development and business performance.

Role overview:

  • Academy Facilitation (approx. 50% of role):
    • Delivering engaging and inspiring induction programmes for new Currys colleagues, both virtually via Microsoft Teams and face‑to‑face at the Academy, Fort Dunlop.
    • Building the confidence and capability of front‑line colleagues during their first 180 days, enabling them to effectively sell, serve and support customers.
    • Developing and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with key stakeholders across our Retail estate.
  • Gaming Expert Programme Support (approx. 50% of role):
    • Supporting the delivery of the Gaming Expert blended learning programme, ensuring colleagues receive timely and relevant learning experiences.
    • Assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of large‑scale learning events throughout the year, from logistics through to facilitation.
    • Designing and delivering engaging virtual learning sessions in partnership with suppliers, running up to ten sessions annually.

You will need:

  • Some experience within a Learning & Development environment.
  • Ability to design, deliver and evaluate effective learning programmes.
  • A confident, engaging facilitation style with the ability to inspire and bring learning to life.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with commercial teams, suppliers and senior partners.
  • A genuine passion for technology, particularly gaming and a drive to help others build their knowledge and confidence.
  • A professional qualification in learning design, delivery or capability development (e.g. CIPD), or currently working towards one, is desirable.
