The Dixon Group Europe LTD is seeking a commercially minded Product Category Manager to take responsibility for the performance and development of physical product ranges within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will focus on managing product mix, pricing, sourcing and stock performance to support profitability and growth across the business. As the Product Category Manager, you will take ownership of defined product ranges, working within a commercially guided framework and reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Over time, the role offers the opportunity to expand across additional categories as you develop within the business.

What You'll Do:
- Take responsibility for the commercial performance of defined product ranges, including margin, sales performance and stock efficiency.
- Manage and optimise product mix to maintain competitiveness within the market.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to support pricing strategies that maximise profitability and market penetration.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain teams to identify and support new business opportunities.
- Liaise with Procurement to develop, source and improve products across ranges.
- Monitor product and category performance using key metrics (e.g. GMROI, sales trends, stock turn) and highlight areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data within the business system (e.g. specifications, costs, supplier details, MOQs).
- Support the creation of product sourcing briefs and the introduction of new products and range improvements.
- Assist with marketing and sales initiatives, including product positioning and promotional support.
- Develop training material to support Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Identify and help manage slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending appropriate actions.
- Support forecasting and planning activities with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to resolving quality, compliance and regulatory issues where required.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a commercially focused role such as category management, product management or a similar role working with product ranges.
- Some experience working with pricing, margins, product mix or category/product performance.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of what drives profitability in a product-based environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales, stock and performance data to support decision-making.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to product or range decisions within a commercial setting.
- Ability to take ownership of defined product areas while working within broader commercial direction.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across product ranges.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with product data and reporting.
- Confident using Excel and business systems to analyse and manage data.
- Proactive, adaptable and motivated to develop broader category responsibility over time.
