Bradford Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Adults Team, helping to protect vulnerable adults across the city. This is a crucial role in a fast-paced, supportive team where you will manage safeguarding enquiries, assess risk, and promote the safety and wellbeing of adults with care and support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
- Work closely with partner agencies to investigate and manage risk
- Advocate for vulnerable adults and ensure their voices are heard
- Apply the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation in practice
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
- Experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory roles
- Strong understanding of the Care Act, MCA, and DoLS
- Able to work in or travel to Bradford and surrounding areas
