Nursery Room Leader Position (Baby room)
Full time: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm

Rate: £26000 to £30,000 a year
I am pleased to be recruiting for my client an independent day nursery located within Hornsey they are seeking an experienced full time Room leader for their baby room to join their amazing team.
The nursery has a capacity for approximately 60 children aged from babies to five years old and comprising of 3 baby rooms, 2 toddler rooms and 2 pre-school rooms.
As a Room leader, your role will include but not limited to:
As a leader, you’ll spend a large chunk of your time supervising other staff members, so you’ll need to maintain strong and positive relationships with members of your team.
You’ll support and supervise the needs of nursery workers and assistants, such as assigning specific tasks and providing advice, so you can all collectively deliver the best childcare possible.
You may mentor staff members through training sessions, schedule their day-to-day duties, and deliver appraisals for their self-development.
You’ll need to ensure staff members are filling out the correct paperwork in line with their role, such as records of development or progress checks.
The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications and experiences:
Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
Previous Room Leader experience in a similar sized nursery setting.
Previous experience of leading exceptional childcare standards and compliance with Health and Safety and OFSTED requirements.
Applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS (formally CRB)
