Capgemini’s Cloud Native Hyperscaler Azure team is seeking a visionary and technically accomplished Managing Azure Architect to deliver strategic client engagements across our Azure portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of influencing cloud-native transformation at scale. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our Azure architecture capability, driving pre-sales and go-to-market initiatives, and leading complex solution design for enterprise clients. You’ll work closely with Microsoft, internal delivery teams, and client stakeholders to deliver transformative outcomes.

As a Managing Azure Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our Azure architecture capabilities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design and delivery of sophisticated solutions for enterprise clients. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with internal delivery teams, client stakeholders and Microsoft to ensure impactful and innovative outcomes that drive cloud transformation. You will also need to support pre-sales activities, guiding our go-to-market strategies.

  • Technical Delivery & Governance
    • Lead the design of secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions for enterprise clients.
    • Provide architectural oversight and governance across delivery engagements.
    • Mentor and coach architects and engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Drive the integration of AI capabilities within Azure solutions to deliver innovative, data-driven outcomes for clients.
  • Thought Leadership & Evangelism
    • Act as a visible leader in the Azure community – internally and externally – through blogs, events, and technical enablement.
    • Drive the adoption of modern cloud-native patterns (e.g. microservices, containers, serverless, AI integration) across the practice.
    • Contribute to the evolution of Capgemini’s Cloud Native Hyperscaler Azure reference architectures and accelerators.
  • Business Development & Pre-Sales
    • Support architecture strategy and solutioning for Azure-centric bids and proposals.
    • Represent Capgemini in client-facing engagements, articulating the value of Azure-native solutions.
  • Capability Building
    • Shape and grow the Azure architecture community within C&CA.
    • Support certification and learning initiatives aligned to Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven experience as a managing lead architect on large-scale Azure transformation programmes.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services including App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, AI Services, Foundry, Copilot Studio and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native design principles, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-305, AZ-400).
  • Experience in pre-sales, bid support, and client stakeholder engagement.
