Working pattern: Monday and Friday

Role Summary
The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. Forrester High School strives to ensure that all young people have access to tailored learning pathways that meet their needs. We work closely to ensure our learners know how to progress their learning, enabling them to gain the skills, experiences and qualifications they need to achieve a successful, positive and sustained destination on leaving school.

Qualifications & Checks
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. A conditional offer will be subject to satisfactory completion of these checks. Pay is in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
