We are seeking a motivated, skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our Science faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science and committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential. As part of our established 1-to-1 device program, we have successfully integrated digital learning into our core curriculum. We are seeking candidates who can further elevate our digital practice, using technology to drive student engagement and high-quality learning outcomes.
You should be committed to further raising the attainment and achievement of all our pupils and be able to demonstrate an active interest in current educational developments. The successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the wider life of the school and to extend the range of extracurricular clubs on offer.
The working days for this post are Mondays & Wednesdays.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
