The University of Sheffield's Geotechnical Research Group is seeking an experienced experimentalist to lead centrifuge testing campaigns evaluating a low-permeability capping layer for a long-term waste repository.
You will design the test package, prepare models, run tests, and analyse deformation, pore pressure and yield data using imaging techniques.
You will report to the PI and collaborate with technical teams, contributing to final reports and academic dissemination.
