Gilmerton Early Years is a large, busy setting offering various attendance patterns between 8 am and 6 pm, 52 weeks per year. We work in partnership with our families to promote children’s learning and development, help close the attainment gap and ensure equity for all. Our setting is a natural environment with outdoor spaces that back onto the local Community Garden and the Community Centre situated next door. We encourage our team to strive for high standards, with support and development opportunities available at all levels.
We are seeking a skilled, knowledgeable and creative Senior Early Years Officer on a permanent basis.
- Hold the required qualification(s) for early years practice (see attached documentation for specifics).
- Be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or cleared by a recent PVG Scheme update check.
- Provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if you have spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years.
