Location: Murrayburn Primary Enhanced Support Base (ESB) in the Sighthill area of the city.
Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Murrayburn Primary ESB has 3 classes, each with up to 8 pupils, a teacher, and 2 Pupil Support Workers. We also provide EYP & Nursery Nurse support across the class structure. Most pupils have an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis and Additional Support Needs, which may include personal care.
Interviews for this permanent post will be held on Friday 19th and Monday 22nd June, with a start date of 10th August 2026.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASN) is required.
- A valid First Aid qualification is advantageous.
- A Personal Vulnerability Guarantee (PVG) for Children is required, and a PVG Scheme update check will be undertaken.
- Overseas Criminal Record Checks may be required if the applicant has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
Regulatory & Checks:
This position is regulated work involving children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An unconditional offer will be subject to the outcome of both pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
