A permanent Pupil Support Assistant position is available at St Margaret's Roman Catholic Primary School, located in South Queensferry. The school promotes values of Love, Respect, and Kindness and has a roll of just over 100 pupils across 5 composite classes.
Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 per year (pro rata for part time and sessional).
Hours: 9 hours, 39 weeks sessional, Thursday 8:50 - 15:15 and Friday 8:50 - 12:25.
Responsibilities & Expectations: We are looking for conscientious, committed candidates with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience of working in a school would be desirable.
Legal & Training Requirements: Prepare for the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 checks. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years. An unconditional offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of these pre-employment checks.
