Newcraighall Primary School is a village school on the eastern edge of Edinburgh, educating 180 primary children across 8 classes and a full‑time nursery class of 20.

Role Overview:

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The role involves supporting students in the classroom and school activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current or forthcoming PVG Scheme registration (or a PVG Scheme update check).
  • Overseas criminal record check for those who have spent 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years.
  • Demonstrated experience or aptitude for working with children in a supportive setting.
  • Ability to comply with all pre‑employment checks and meet the minimum job criteria.
