Pupil Support Assistant – fixed term until 29/06/2027 at Clermiston Primary School. Salary: £26,806 – £27,032 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional). Hours: 25 per week, 39 weeks sessional.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and share our passion for ensuring the highest possible quality of learning for our young children. Previous experience working with pupils with additional support for learning needs in a school setting would be desirable.
Clermiston Primary School is a non‑denominational school that serves the Clermiston and Drumbrae area in the North West of Edinburgh. The school has a roll of 457 (including 40 nursery pupils) and 15 classes from P1 to P7.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check. If a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check will be required. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of these pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
