We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Teaching, Learning, and Student Experience Support Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to delivering a high-quality, student-centred service within a dynamic and inclusive environment.

In this varied role, you'll support the delivery of teaching, learning and student support activities across the School of Engineering. You'll work closely with colleagues across Professional Services and academic teams to:

  • Respond to student enquiries and provide clear, helpful information, both written and verbal
  • Support day-to-day administrative processes, maintain accurate records and systems
  • Help organise meetings and team activities. You will be involved in our Student Voice meetings and society activity.
  • Assist with our student events such as Graduation, and Welcome
  • Be a friendly face on our Student Support Hub, undertaking Hub shifts as required.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team within Teaching, Learning and Student Experience (TLSE). We work closely across Schools, Faculties and central services to deliver a joined-up, inclusive service for students.

  • Experience supporting students or customers
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and sensitively and maintain confidentiality

  • A professional, approachable and student‑focused attitude
