Holy Rood is a Catholic secondary school with a roll of 1183 pupils, situated in the conservation village of Duddingston to the east of Holy Rood Park. The school has a strong sense of community and has worked hard to achieve productive links with its associated Primary Schools, Further Education Colleges, local businesses, and various community partners.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
