Our school is very multi‑cultural, with over 30 languages and countries celebrated across our community. We have nine classes from P1‑P7 and a new Early Year's Centre on our grounds taking over 100 young pupils. We have an excellent, supportive and highly self‑evaluative staff who play an active role in the direction the school takes. Although a Catholic school, we welcome people of all faiths, celebrating the diversity and culture they bring.

The school is led by a management team that you would join, alongside the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher and Business Manager. The leadership team is supported by a School Administrator, a team of Pupil Support Assistants and a Service Support Officer. Our Parent Council is incredibly supportive of staff and the learning and teaching throughout the school, providing various resources and finance that have a direct positive impact.

We are looking for a quality professional who is creative within the classroom, enthusiastic and committed to providing high‑quality provision to all children. We value a team player.

If an individual has spent three months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone feels valued and can be their best. We particularly encourage applications from women for senior roles, as well as people from minority ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities or neuro‑divergent people, care‑experienced people, carers and LGBT+ people across all levels of the organisation. All applicants will be considered fairly based on skills and experience. Disabled and care‑experienced applicants who meet the minimum job criteria will be guaranteed an interview.

As part of our goal to improve organisational culture and create a great place to work for the people of Edinburgh, we want to ensure we recruit the best people.
