Mobile Warden - Temporary Accommodation, North East Locality Office. Salary: £27,257 - £29,850. Hours: 36 per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Homelessness Mobile Warden position in The City of Edinburgh Council's Temporary Accommodation Service.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare Temporary Accommodation properties to a high standard, ensuring it is appropriately furnished and adequately stocked within a specified timescale.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and utility companies to carry out any necessary repair work.
  • Put customers first, respect and understand their concerns and needs when delivering services, and inspire confidence and respect in the service.
  • Be sensitive and responsive to the needs of all customers, including those experiencing significant life challenges.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Significant experience in a role involving cleaning duties, manual handling tasks or supporting clients within a housing association, council or similar organisation.
  • This post is regulated to work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

PVG Scheme or update check required.

Where applicable, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required, and you will need to provide this check.
