Working hours for this post are 8:15-16:30 (13:15 on Fridays).

About the Role

Are you passionate about early childhood education and seeking to work in a warm and welcoming school community? Our vibrant Gaelic Medium Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to be part of our nurturing setting. At Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pàirce we celebrate Gaelic culture, music and song to help foster a love of learning through an immersive Gaelic language experience.

Responsibilities

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young minds, create engaging and playful learning environments, and support children in their Gaelic language journey. If you're enthusiastic about promoting bilingualism and want to make a lasting impact in the lives of our learners, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements and Qualifications

You must ensure that you have the required qualifications and experience for the post before you apply. Please refer to the attached documentation for requirements, or we will be unable to consider your application. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Compensation

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. Happy to talk flexible working.
