Salary: £26,205 – £26,525 (pro‑rata for part‑time)
Hours: 25 per week, 52 weeks. Working pattern: Four on, four off rotational shift. Shift: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm with a 90‑minute unpaid break.
Responsibilities:
- Empty litter and recycling bins.
- Clean all surfaces, internal glass, floors, furniture, fixtures and fittings within a group of buildings.
- Clean all sanitary areas, toilets and showers and replenish washroom consumables.
- Perform emergency and re‑active cleaning as required, e.g., removal of graffiti, body fluid spillages, accidental spillages.
- Maintain the care and cleanliness of all equipment used in carrying out duties.
- Execute other tasks that may reasonably be required, including supporting cleaning tasks across other buildings.
- Deliver to the cleaning specification requirements and cooperate with performance measurement so that the overall agreed standards are met.
- Act as a key holder to enable opening and closing of buildings; operate security alarm systems, close windows and doors, switch off lights, and ensure premises are left safe and secure.
