Breakfast Club Assistant – Queensferry Primary School
Salary: £26,205 – £26,525 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional). Hours: 5 per week, 38 weeks sessional.
Working pattern: Monday‑Friday, 07:55–08:55 (1 hour per day).
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children while providing a healthy breakfast before school.
Listen to children, stay organised and create a safe environment for their learning.
Qualifications and Experience
Good listener, organised and enjoys working with children.
Food & Hygiene Training (or willingness to undertake such training).
Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
Requirements and Checks
Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Candidate must join the PVG Scheme or complete an update check.
Overseas Criminal Record Check required if the applicant has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years; unconditional offer will depend on satisfactory outcomes of the PVG Scheme and Criminal Record Check.
