Location: Preston Street Primary School

Salary: £30,188 – £34,452 (pro‑rata for part‑time and sessional)

Hours: 21 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Working pattern: Wednesday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Join the Nursery Team and the Primary 1 team, working across both settings.
  • Provide caring and creative support, positively interact, inspire and nurture P1 learners.
  • Demonstrate initiative and team‑working skills.

Qualifications & Conditions

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Candidates must join or update their PVG Scheme and provide a valid Overseas Criminal Record Check if they have spent 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years. An unconditional offer of employment will depend on satisfactory pre‑employment checks.
