Early Years Practitioner – Fixed term until 29/06/2027
Salary: £22,563 – £25,750 (pro‑rate term time/sessional)
Hours: 12 per week, 39 weeks sessional.
Murrayburn Primary is in the Sighthill area of Edinburgh. We have an EYC, an Enhanced Support Base, and in session 2026/27 ten mainstream classes. We require an experienced, qualified and registered Early Years Practitioner to work in our P1 & P2 classes with a small team to support learners. This will also include working in the playground and our dedicated playroom.
A PVG for Children is required, and candidates must be willing to join the PVG Scheme. Experience with supporting pupils with Additional Support Needs and a current First Aid certificate are welcomed but not essential.
