Early Years Practitioner – fixed term until 28/05/2027
Balgreen Nursery School: salary £30,188–£34,452, 36 hrs week, 52 weeks.
Balgreen Nursery School welcomes, respects and nurtures children and families, creating a stimulating and challenging environment. The nursery has a well‑established garden for learning in nature.
Responsibilities
Work shift patterns within the setting between 0750 and 1800, Monday‑Friday, with occasional late shifts on rotation, within each 36‑hour week. Provide high‑quality early years education and care, promoting wellbeing, independence and resilience.
Qualifications
- SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7
- HNC Childhood Practice
Applicants must hold one of the above qualifications at the specified level. Specify the qualification and level in the application; those without either qualification will not be considered.
Additional Requirements
This is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate must join or update their PVG Scheme and provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if required.
