About the Role:
East Craigs Primary School Nursery is looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our established nursery team. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to support children’s learning and wellbeing within a nurturing early years environment. The successful candidate will be a positive team player with a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and wellbeing in a nurturing early years environment.
- Collaborate with the nursery team to create a positive and inclusive learning community.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of high-quality early years education.
Requirements:
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
