The Health and Social Care Partnership are seeking a contract support officer to join our established team who oversee the contract management of £350m of procured services which are delivered for the people of Edinburgh by the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board guided by their Strategic plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, monitor, and review contractual and financial agreements with external providers.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate administrative systems to ensure the section is effective and efficient.
  • Ensure appropriate contract documentation is in place.
  • Maintain and update the database holding contractual information.
  • Ensure robust systems are in place to allow payments to contractors to be made timeously.
  • Provide support to colleagues on contracting issues.

Pre‑employment checks:

This position is subject to a Basic Disclosure check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
