Salary: £26,806-£27,032 (pro rata for part time and sessional) – initial start and increases annually.

We are seeking a skilled, motivated and experienced clerical assistant able to deliver reliable administrative support across telephone, face‑to‑face, e‑mail and online channels using school systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the school office.
  • Communicate via telephone, face‑to‑face, email and online platforms to support staff and learners.
  • Use school systems to manage and retrieve information as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
Schedule

Monday to Thursday 08:00 am to 15:50 pm, Friday 08:00 am to 13:20 pm.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a school setting not required.
  • Must be willing to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or undergo a PVG update check.
  • Must provide an overseas criminal record check if previously abroad >3 months in last 5 years.
  • Record checks must be satisfactory for offer and commencement.
