An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Breakfast Club Assistant to support pupil groups at Balgreen Primary School's Breakfast Club. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, engaging, caring, creative and will preferably have some experience of working with children in a breakfast club or educational setting.
They will provide a healthy breakfast for the pupils, along with practical support and care to ensure pupils' wellbeing and safety when attending breakfast club. They will also undertake routine breakfast club duties working within established procedures under the guidance of a supervisor. A genuine interest in the wellbeing and learning of children is essential.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
