Hours: 36 per week

Responsibilities:

  • A key member of a small specialist arborist team carrying out potentially hazardous arboricultural and forestry operations, including working at height.
  • Generally works under the direction of the Lead Arborist and on a regular basis may be required to make decisions about how works are implemented.
  • The postholder is responsible for carrying out works in accordance with health and safety procedures in relation to themselves, other squad members and the general public while on site.

Checks:

This position is subject to a Basic Disclosure check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
