Bleep is an online record store with a clear identity - offering a carefully curated range of music. Working directly with independent labels, artists and distributors to offer exclusive music and merchandise.
We are looking for an Online Record Store Manager to take ownership for the future success of Bleep by leading the next phase of its growth as both a retail and cultural destination.
This role combines responsibility for music curation, marketing and brand development. The focus is on strengthening Bleep's identity, expanding its reach, and driving commercial performance.
You'll collaborate with labels, artists, and distributors, and lead a small team, working across catalogue, product and marketing strategy.
The role requires a balance of editorial judgement and commercial focus, with decisions informed by both taste and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the editorial direction of Bleep as a trusted destination for music discovery.
- Oversee catalogue, curation, and product priorities
- Lead marketing strategy and performance across all channels
- Grow audience reach, acquisition, and retention
- Develop and manage relationships with labels, artists, and partners
- Maintain a consistent and distinctive editorial voice
- Lead and develop the team
Skills & Experience
- Retail management experience, preferably in a music environment
- Strong passion for music, an understanding of global music audiences and trends
- Experience in marketing, including performance analysis; across social, email and paid channels
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear actions and strategy
- Experience with leadership of a small team
- Experience working with labels, distributors, or artists
- Experience delivering exclusive products or partnerships
Location: London / at least 3 days per week from our Kentish Town office
