We are looking for a Senior Press Officer to be the lead press officer for BEO across all our media activity. You will lead on the day-to-day running of the press office, ensuring all media requests are dealt with in a timely and appropriate way and use your network to secure national and regional online, print, and broadcast coverage.
You will be a strong communicator, both orally and with excellent report writing skills. You will also have the ability to present evidence and data in a clear, concise way. Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure are also essential.
You will have a strong track record of developing and executing PR plans to achieve impact, and successfully managing interventions across a range of media. Experience of working in the voluntary sector or in a social change role would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will be part of the growing Communications Team, which comprises BEO’s press office, digital communications, social media and campaigns functions. There will be opportunities for you to work with teams across the organisation and with key stakeholders. It’s a dynamic time for BEO and we hope you consider joining us on this journey.
