Our goal is to ensure that no child grows up alone. As a global Federation of national members, SOS Children's Villages has been supporting vulnerable children since 1949, and currently works in 136 countries and territories across five continents. SOS Children's Villages UK is the UK member since 1968. All of the work that we do comes back to our vision of a world where every child has a family, a community, and a chance to grow up feeling cared for and loved.

We are looking for a trustee with skills across marketing and/or fundraising to join our UK Board of Trustees. Do you have experience of innovative approaches to building brand awareness, engagement and market share? Do you have a passion for how digital and social media can be used to drive engagement with a cause or a brand? Can you demonstrate experience of building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues to achieve organisational objectives? Individuals are sought who have a strong empathy with our mission. We particularly welcome applications from individuals who have direct experience in the UK or other care system as a child or an adult.

Time commitment: 8-10 days per year across Board and Committee meetings, in addition to meeting preparation time and ad hoc meetings with and support for the executive team.
