We’re looking for an experienced professional Graphic Designer (Middleweight) to join our extensive in-house design team. You will mainly work on the print and branding side of the department but with some natural crossover into the digital and video side.

The role is often fast-paced, reactive and involves working with the marketing and sales teams on multiple projects simultaneously, so attention to detail and organisational skills are essential and a high level of self-management is required.

You’ll get the opportunity to create content for a wide range of audiences and styles across our varied trade shows, publications and other events, and develop your skills working as part of an 8 strong creative team in a lovely bright modern office located in Brighton not far from the station.

You’ll be a confident, creative self-starter with 2-3 years’ experience in a Graphic Designer (Middleweight) role – this is not a junior position, ideally within events, exhibitions, or branding agency.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking projects from concept through to completion.
  • Preparing files for production and ensuring artwork is accurate and well organised.
  • Producing and amending design artwork across print.
  • Making design amends and refinements in response to feedback.
  • Organising and managing design files, assets, and templates.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across different projects.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues and partners.
  • Contributing ideas and helping improve how we work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not after a perfect CV — we’re after the right person and some recent examples of your work. You’ll probably have: 2-3 years in a Graphic Designer role (events, exhibitions, or design agency a plus):

  • Design for print/branding.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • A proven track-record delivering design projects to a high standard.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as an individual but also as part of a collaborative team.
  • An understanding of how print and branding design crosses over to digital and online.
  • Coding and web/email design skills an asset but not essential.
  • Video and motion graphic skills also a benefit but not essential.

What’s in It for You

We know you have options, so here’s why people enjoy working here:

  • A role with real ownership — you’ll be trusted to get on with it, not micromanaged.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays — and we close over Christmas and New Year on top of that.
  • An employer pension contribution of up to 10% — significantly above the statutory minimum and one of the most generous schemes you’ll find at a company of our size.
  • A discretionary company bonus scheme — when the business does well, everyone shares in that success.
  • A comprehensive wellbeing package including a cash health plan, EAP, life insurance, critical illness cover, bereavement support, and a contribution towards gym membership or a wellbeing app.
  • Flexible start and finish times, so you can work around your life.
  • Hybrid working — a genuine blend of Brighton office and home.
  • Cycle to Work scheme and Electric Car Scheme.
  • Ongoing professional development — in-house training, curated programmes, and dedicated self-directed learning time.
  • A paid volunteering day to give back to a cause that matters to you.
  • Genuinely family-friendly policies, including enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
  • A colleague referral scheme — because the best people often know the best people.
  • Regular social events — from book clubs and game nights to our annual Star Awards and Christmas party.
  • A two-time Employer of the Year winner (EN Awards 2025 & 2026) — an accolade that reflects how we actually treat our people.
