As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, maintain and repair Diversey dosing and dispensing equipment as well as TASKI floorcare machines at customer sites. You will deliver exceptional technical service, maximise first-time fix rates, and ensure customers receive a safe, efficient and professional experience every time. This is a field-based role requiring strong technical ability, independence and a commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain and repair dosing and dispensing equipment and TASKI floorcare machines for Diversey customers.
- Attend customer sites for breakdowns, planned maintenance and installation visits.
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain van stock levels to support a strong first-time fix rate.
- Minimise equipment downtime by using remote diagnosis and remote fix options where possible.
- Plan daily work efficiently to maximise productivity and meet customer expectations.
- Maintain PPE and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and customers at all times.
- Keep Salesforce updated with job details, parts used, incomplete tasks and follow-up requirements.
- Communicate effectively with the Planning team regarding parts, scheduling and job status.
- Participate fully in all training provided to maintain and develop technical skill levels.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., automotive, mobility equipment, forklifts, motorcycles, white goods, boilers, etc.).
- Strong focus on quality, safety and service excellence.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Confident communicator with customers and internal teams.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- High first-time fix rate supported by strong van stock management.
- Safe, efficient and professional service delivery on every customer visit.
- Accurate and timely updates in Salesforce.
- Positive customer feedback and strong working relationships.
- Continuous improvement in technical capability through training and hands-on experience.
