Diversey is seeking a skilled European Fleet Manager .
The European Fleet Manager will be apart of a Global Procurement Fleet team supporting Business Units who have Sales and Service vehicles. This individual will manage a team of Regional Procurement Managers to support the administration and coordination of fleet vehicles mainly in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with extension to the global fleet as needed. This role interfaces with all functions within the global organization and is responsible for the end-to-end fleet operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high energy, high performing team. This role reports to the Global Procurement Fleet Lead and will be based out of Northampton, UK or Warsaw, Poland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of Regional Fleet Managers and have oversight of fleet in all regions across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Manage end-to-end fleet operations including but not limited to managing day-to-day driver intake, supporting purchasing/leasing vehicles, and driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Track and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, safety, and training protocols.
- Maintain database of all key fleet data including inventory, spend, vehicle status, etc. at all times.
- Develop partnership with Fleet Management Company (FMCs) to manage Lease and Services Agreements efficiently including but not limited to managing licensure and registration, maintenance schedules, claims reporting and maintaining a positive driver experience.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with partners, negotiate and set up contractual service levels and continuously evaluate supplier performance.
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to manage internal stakeholder requirements and expectations.
- Monitor and ensure fleet operation is compliant with local and country level rules and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with government rules/ regulations and file paperwork as needed.
- Assist in the management of country level budgetary limits.
- Deliver annual cost savings initiatives and goals.
- Motivate team to achieve peak productivity, performance, and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Manage the processing of invoices and billing.
- Supporting regional or global projects on fleet development.
- Generate reports and work with data to provide insights on fleet performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven work experience as a Fleet Manager or 5-6 years of fleet management experience
- Proven work experience as a People Manager
- Strong strategic thinking is required
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and report at executive level
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail to ensure fleet data and inventory are up-to-date
