We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Environment Advisor to champion environmental compliance, drive continuous improvement, and support occupational hygiene across our UK sites.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll be the trusted specialist ensuring our sites meet all environmental and occupational hygiene requirements while building strong relationships with regulators and internal teams.
Your key responsibilities
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Environmental Permits, COMAH, waste legislation and wider environmental law. Lead permit variations, ADMS modelling, noise monitoring, nuisance investigations, land remediation and COMAH Safety Report reviews.
- Regulator Engagement: Act as the primary Environment Agency contact. Lead EA audits, manage follow‑up actions and ensure consistent, high‑quality reporting and communication.
- Environmental Monitoring: Conduct, collate and report MCERTS‑standard monitoring for Solenis and BASF Dealburn Road. Support investigations, modelling and process improvements.
- Occupational Hygiene Monitoring: Develop and maintain monitoring schedules for airborne contaminants, dust, noise and heat stress in line with regulatory and Solenis requirements.
- Management Systems: Support RC14001 implementation through procedures, cluster roll‑out and internal auditing.
