About the role
As a Distributor Account Manager, you will take ownership for the growth and retention of an agreed customer portfolio of distributor accounts in line with strategic plans and set sales and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales lifecycle for a portfolio of distributor accounts, building strong direct relationships and working closely with internal teams to deliver value.
- Develop and deliver clear business objectives aligned with company goals to win, grow, and retain customers.
- Create joint business plans with each distributor and review performance through quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure full operational support and timely delivery of agreed objectives.
- Manage and develop a healthy sales pipeline, driving conversion of new business opportunities within your account portfolio.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer and distributor needs to provide tailored, value-added solutions.
- Build strong knowledge of distributor business models and regional account structures.
- Partner with distributor sales teams on joint sales activities, both internally and externally.
- Work with channel partners to drive organic growth through promotional planning and new product/innovation sales.
- Ensure agreed service levels are met and support end-user engagement through collaboration with territory teams.
- Communicate product listings, pricing, and commercial terms effectively to relevant stakeholders.
