We are now seeking a Commercial Lead to drive commercial performance, strengthen customer partnerships, and lead a high‑performing national accounts team.

Remote (UK/Ireland) with extensive travel. Diversey UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to define and deliver the Sales & Service growth strategy across the region. This senior leadership role carries full accountability for profitable growth, customer retention, commercial excellence and the performance of a multi‑layer commercial organisation.

About the Role
  • Sales & Service Strategy
    • Own and execute the UK&I commercial plan to deliver revenue, margin and profitable growth.
    • Embed a disciplined operating model across Sales and Service, ensuring resources align to customer value and growth priorities.
    • Set direction and performance expectations for Heads of Department, ensuring coordinated execution across regions.
  • Retention, Churn Reduction & Loss Prevention
    • Lead a structured approach to protecting the customer base and minimising churn.
    • Strengthen governance around contract renewals, service delivery and customer engagement.
    • Drive consistent account planning and QBR cadence to identify and mitigate risk early.
  • Profitable Growth & Price Execution
    • Own annual price increase delivery, including segmentation, negotiation strategy and realisation tracking.
    • Improve margin through value selling, portfolio optimisation and disciplined commercial decision‑making.
    • Maintain strong forecasting and commercial governance.
  • New Business & Market Leadership
    • Ensure the BDM organisation builds and converts a high‑quality pipeline.
    • Maintain strong external presence and industry engagement.
    • Build sector‑focused growth plans informed by customer needs and competitor insight.
  • Leadership & Culture
    • Lead, coach and develop multi‑layer teams across Sales, Service, Inside Sales, National Accounts, Regional Teams and Demand Planning.
    • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
    • Strengthen capability in value selling, negotiation and commercial discipline.
  • Commercial Excellence & Operating Rhythm
    • Drive data‑led performance management using CRM and internal systems.
    • Ensure high standards of pipeline management, forecasting and actionable reporting.
    • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product/Innovation, HR and Operations.
What You Bring
  • Senior commercial leadership experience across Sales and/or Service organisations.
  • Strong track record in retention, growth, price execution and margin management.
  • Credible leadership presence with customers; able to influence at executive and operational levels.
  • Comfortable operating in a metric‑driven environment (CRM, forecasting, performance cadence).
  • Experience in hygiene, chemicals, solutions‑led B2B or distributor‑led markets.
  • Exposure to tendering processes in regulated sectors and building compliant, commercially robust submissions.
Travel

Remote‑based role with extensive travel across the UK & Ireland, plus occasional European meetings.
