We are looking for an Application Expert to join our team in a national role, supporting customers and sales teams with industry-leading cleaning, hygiene, and chemical solutions.

As a trusted technical specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers select the right chemical products, equipment, dosing systems, and application methods to improve operational performance and create value.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D teams, you will translate technical expertise into practical solutions that support customer success and business growth.

• What You'll Be Doing
• Provide technical application expertise to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify customer needs and recommend effective chemical and hygiene solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Support customers in resolving cleaning, hygiene, and process-related challenges.
• Advise on the selection and implementation of products, platforms, equipment, and dosing systems.
• Deliver technical support and guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the launch of new products and solutions, including customer and sales training.
• Conduct field trials and evaluations, providing technical feedback to support product and system innovation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support the development of responsible and sustainable cleaning solutions across the industry.
• Reporting Relationships
• The Application Expert reports directly to the Application Lead and works closely with:
• Global and Country Marketing Teams
• National and Regional Sales Teams
• Customer Sales & Support Teams
• Technical Customer Support
• Global Application Teams
• Research & Development Teams

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering practical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
