Position Summary
As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic growth of the full Diversey UK portfolio through business development via direct and in-direct routes to market. You will create new business funnels and strategic detailed account plans, before handing over to a Key Account Manager that will manage the client when the deal has landed.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads on Regional or National accounts through own channels, contacts, trade fairs, meetings, etc.
- Target and win qualified opportunities with new regional customers.
- Create new business funnels for defined key customers/segments and maintain in Salesforce.
- Coordinate acquisition activities with BDM Director, sector leader and Inside Hunter, and prepare offers either solely or with admin/support staff.
- Establish a customer relationship and maintain contact with decision-makers and employees.
- Ensure elaboration and implementation of measures in their sector to ease sales.
- Ensure utilisation of remote sales tools and encourage service teams to utilize remote service tool to ensure efficient service.
- Build and maintain contact with key opinion leaders and convince them of Diversey offering.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in Business Development, B2B or Large Corporate Accounts role (Essential).
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems (Essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to adapt, be persistent and have an ambition to succeed.
