Our client, a leading organisation within the insurance sector, is seeking a commercially aware and analytically minded Business Performance Analyst to support a growing UK Motor Alternative Distribution and Insurtech portfolio. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a curious and data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex information into actionable business insight. Working closely with underwriting and pricing teams, you will play a key role in influencing underwriting strategy, pricing decisions, and portfolio performance through data analysis and reporting. Responsibilities
- Analyse scheme and portfolio performance data to identify trends in risk mix, conversion, and overall portfolio performance.
- Produce accurate and insightful reporting using Excel and Power BI.
- Identify issues, opportunities, and emerging trends to support underwriting and pricing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with underwriting and pricing teams to interpret and communicate performance insights.
- Present data-driven recommendations and findings to senior stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio reporting, analytics, and insight-sharing processes.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making through evidence-based analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience analysing business, portfolio, or performance data.
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
