We are partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join its highly regarded Competition & Regulatory team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised legal support professional to work alongside senior lawyers on complex, high-profile matters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Partners and Fee Earners, ensuring the smooth running of a busy practice and maintaining exceptional client service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex and ever-changing diaries for senior stakeholders
- Coordinating meetings, conference calls and client events
- Arranging domestic and international travel, including itineraries and accommodation
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents, correspondence and presentations
- Assisting with billing, expenses and matter administration
- Monitoring inboxes and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Supporting business development activities where required
- Maintaining accurate records and document management systems
- Liaising with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Senior Legal Secretary within a law firm
- Experience supporting Partners and senior legal professionals
- Strong document production and formatting skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and legal document management systems
