Working as part of an established float team, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support across the firm's departments, stepping into roles at short notice to cover periods of holiday, sickness and additional business requirements. This role would suit a confident, adaptable and proactive Legal Secretary who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to fee earners across the firm.
- Prepare, format and proofread legal documents, correspondence and presentations.
- Manage diaries, meetings and travel arrangements.
- Assist with billing, conflict checks and case management processes.
- Maintain physical and electronic client files.
- Handle document production, scanning, printing, binding and general administration.
- Support fee earners with client and matter management requirements.
- Proven Legal Secretary experience within a Family Law team.
- Experience working within a leading City or commercial law firm.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service.
- Professional, confident and able to build relationships at all levels.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (65+ wpm preferred).
