Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Performance, Strategy & Insights to lead data-driven decision-making and strategic planning across a major communications and fundraising function.

This senior leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that performance, insight, and operational delivery are aligned to maximise organisational impact. You will oversee CRM, analytics, and strategic planning functions, enabling teams to operate effectively and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of data-driven strategies to support organisational goals
  • Oversee CRM systems, data pipelines, and analytics functions to ensure high-quality insight generation
  • Drive performance management and reporting across communications and fundraising activities
  • Support the development of directorate-wide strategies and operational plans
  • Work closely with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to influence decision-making
  • Ensure robust data governance, quality standards, and compliance across systems
  • Manage relationships with technology providers and delivery partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and impact through data and insight
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams focused on strategy, analytics, and performance

Requirements

  • Significant experience in data, CRM systems, analytics, and strategic planning
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering strategic outcomes
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams and influencing at executive level
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and system integration
  • Experience managing external suppliers and technology partners
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience or qualification in Data Analytics, Business Strategy, Marketing, or a related field
  • Competitive salary (Β£81,510)
