Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, maximizing retention and growth through strategic account management. The successful candidate will bring commercial expertise, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to manage high-value subscriptions in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to increase retention and account value.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities by monitoring usage and purchase behavior.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, events, and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with client services and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing value delivery.
  • Own sales strategy and execution across accounts, including pitching and closing new product sales.
  • Contribute to product development with client insights and feedback.
  • Maintain CRM data (preferably Salesforce) to accurately track pipelines and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and contractual standards.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, championing values such as collaboration, agility, and respect.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B account management experience in a subscription or SaaS environment.
  • Proven sales success, including multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to create and implement sales strategies.
  • Highly proficient in CRM systems and sales forecasting (Salesforce preferred).
  • Resilient, target-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Experience in legal, professional services, or data-driven publishing industries.
  • Understanding of account-based marketing strategies.
